The landscape is starting to change from the Patagonia to a more mountainous region. starting to look like Colorado. There are starting to be trees again after about 2,000 miles of sage brush.
I got to Ushuaia at noon today drove all over town and was chased by at least 10 different dogs worst place ever for dog activity. I took several pictures of the sign coming into town. and found a room for the night.
It was cold from Rio Grande to Ushuaia but no wind 1st day with no wind since fri. I thought it would never quit. The sun is out now and it has warmed up a little. Tomorrow I will start the journey toward home.
This Model T was sitting at a gas station on the way to Ushuaia. Henry really did get everywhere.
There are a couple of big lakes on the way
This was taken from the top of the pass going into town
The temperature was below 40 F all day today.
This was the hostel I stayed at. there was a fenced in area around back.
View of mia moto from the bunk I slept on.
Taken from the third floor reading room at the hostel. They had internet access for about 50cents per hour.also laundry for about 2 dollars. There were six people per room the room I was in a room with a couple from France a guy from Wis. a guy fromCanada the Canadian was going to Antartica tomorrow. About 75% of all Antartica expeditions leave from Ushuaia.
Looking toward the mountains from the Hostel
Ushuaia is built up against the side of a mountain so there is a lot of up and down. These steps lead up to the hosrel from the street below.

Congrates, Joe:
How far did you go on bike, boat and plane? Heard word from Lanai, HI that you decided to ride back up! What route are you going to take back?
Sounds like Nicaragua is a little like Thailand but worse roads.
